I think the answer may be obvious to this question because there is a trainer out for it but i want to ask just in case because i dont want to dish out 50 bucks for a game i wont play.

Internet connection: i read that you have to authenticate it online but is it an MMO like say World of Warcraft or Guild Wars? i went out to go get it and i was the "requires internet connection" thing to play and i got freaked out and assumed it meant online-playing only, but i think i made a mistake. Is it single-player or just online?

its single player, the online connection requirement is to make sure the game is legit. makes you connect to their server to register the game

great, thanks a lot. man, its amazing how far they will go to eliminate illegal copies. although, i went out to go buy it today, and didnt cuase i got scared. i only now realize im a moron and made a huge mistake. Thanks again.

you're not a moron, they should have put on the box requires internet connection to verify the game.

the internet check is transparent. i never noticed it or even knew that it checked. i had an internet connection since i use the internet everyday so it wasn't a problem for me. when i clicked on the icon to run the game it ran. i never noticed anything unusual or even noticed that it checked anything so the internet check is pretty invisible-
