I've been thinking about getting this game for a long time. Do you think it's worth the money?

yes it worth buying.this game rocks.But the game system requirements are plus you have something to know.

Minimum Configuration :
CPU: 3 GHz Pentium 4 Hyper Threading or AMD Athlon 3000
Operating System: Windows Vista/Windows XP SP2 (only)
Memory: 1024MB for Windows XP / 2048MB for Windows Vista
Drive Space: 7 GB
Graphics Card: 128 MB DirectX –compliant, Shader 3.0–enabled video card
Sound Card: DirectX–compliant sound card
DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c (included on disc)

Recommended & Preferred Configuration:
CPU: Intel and AMD processors 3.2 GHz
Operating System: Windows Vista/Windows XP SP2 (only)

I would say you surpass the minimum requirements before you decide to buy the game for sure. Vegas has been known to require more RAM then normal in enclosed/indoor areas.
