Over the past week and a half, Bungie released information on the two new Multiplayer Maps.
One of them, named Avalanche, is a "remake" of Sidewinder from the original Halo: Combat Evolved. It features two bases, each with their own set of vehicles (Covenant vs. Human setup), big interior bases, and Mancannons.
The other, a complete remake of Lockout, except this time around, instead of the structure being on a Forerunner Installation, it's on Earth, in the Arctic.

I myself am excited about the release of these maps, as both of them being big favorites of mine. I can't wait to see the use they'll be put to.
Oh, and on a side note, the Heroic Map Pack is free for all of you that haven't purchased it yet. They will soon be needed for matchmaking, so get them asap.

Damnit, shouldn't have paid the 800. Seems a little bit of a waste for me.
Oh, and I looove Sidewinder on Halo CE - it's one of my favourite maps. So maybe the 800MS is worth it this time around... Avalanche looks pretty cool too. It echoes The Narrows a little bit.
