i do belive soulstorm is a standalone expansion pack just like Dark crusade, but dont ask me i didnt make the game and i dont have it installed yet.

From what I've seen in-game, in the SP campaign, you can use all races, but for the Multiplayer mode, you only have access to the Sisters of Battle and Dark Eldar. This includes LAN. To access all the races for multiplayer you need the EXE's from the other games, and a CD key to be in the Registry for Each EXE
