Man, do we need an English teacher here or what?

Just because the title is "Prostreet" doesn't mean that it has to be on the streets...

well...it should be on streets...otherwise the name would've been Pro Track....or something like that...back to it's roots i think it meant to underground racing...don't mistake with the underground series or maybe arcade racing cos these two types of racing game styles EA used most frequently in their NFS series

and besides...even the intro text from the intro movie says that "it's time to take the racing off the streets" so i guess that calling the game NFS Pro Street wasn't a good idea . streets and tracks are relatives but aren't the same ol' fish food...streets are one thing and tracks are another

about the next nfs...any news related to the next nfs?

I disagree with you Jean. Prostreet is a good idea. For example we got a new type of race like wheelie. It is also a good try from developer to bring this game out from illegal street racing. The problem is how to bring it to the next stage.

No new news as such, EA are doing a darn good job at keeping things under wraps.

well...if they keep the news for themselves then let's hope they will at least do a good job with the next nfs

scorpion...i was reffering at the title of the game...not the race types...the race types are pretty good but the title is kind of awkward

if it was called Pro Track or maybe Pro Racer then maybe it would be more logical for the intro text to say that

I know what you mean Jean. Maybe your interpretation not reach what developer mean about street. Maybe the meaning of street in 'PROSTREET' is street for pro and street for pro is track. 'it's time to take the racing off the streets' maybe means 'it's time to take the race off from traffic'.
