That's a request thread, and does not really verify anything related to NFS XII. It's an interesting read, but not really clarifying anything in particular, except for public demand.

For a change, EA could do a good NFS game once in a while...the best was NFS Porsche 2000, they could include the free-roam stuff, but that illegal street race is bullcrap...they should do something, where there are no ****y dudes wabbling about how super-tuned they're Celicas are, I'm really sick of it ...the first NFS series were really fun, until they released NFS Underground, after that, the series has gone down the hill very fast

I can see where you came from with that, Metal-Reaper. You're one of the true NFS fans. The ones who loved the arcade-style racing, taking very valuable cars and just going beserk with them. TBH, I prefer the older NFS games to the newer ones. IMO, they're all good, but when we think "Need For Speed", my mind goes instantly to the Hot Pursuit games (1 and 2). Strictly IMO, they were the last true NFS games. Hopefully, if Gibeau delivers on his statement, we'll have something to cheer about.

NFS was crap until UG1,that's when it got fun. Prior to UG1,NFS was silly and dreadfully boring, not to mention how unrealistic the cars were. UG1 through Prostreet is where the fun is.

Hehe... you two are the perfect representatives of the two entities of NFS fans. Metal-Reaper - pre-Underground series. 2hot4u - post-Underground series.

    And me? I'm the bridge.
