Ok... Has this happened to anyone else?
I turned on my 360 and put in NFS ProStreet yesterday, as per normal, and after i selected my storage unit (My HDD) it came up asking me to create a new alias, even though I have one saved on the hard drive. I panicked and swiftly reset my console only to find the same message, it was as if I was trying to play the game for the first time. I then proceded to investigate my memory status and sure enough... I had an NFS ProStreet Save Game, on the gamer profile I was trying to load it with.
I finally gave up after 5-6 resets and just said "Eff It", and did what it was asking, I created a new alias, only to find that the game was now asking me to load a career? WTF?
As it turns out I hadn't lost anything, it was just asking me to pretty much rename my alias.
No cars lost, no game progress lost, nothing.
Later on that night I sat down to play Virtua Tennis on my DS (SHUT UP! I CAN HEAR YOUR LOLS FROM HERE!) and the same thing happened! It asked all the same questions it does when you start a new game but after I had answered them it loaded my old game as per normal.
So has anything like this happened to anyone else? Cause I had two freak-outs in one day and it scared the fecal matter out of me

Maybe there's a problem with your gamer profile itself, and not the save game. I find this very odd, I've been familiar with the X360 since launch and nothing like this has ever happened to me. Strange...
Oh, and I have one "word" for the Virtua Tennis thing.

I have never had this problem and havn't had it sinse, but it spun me out how it happened to two different console, two completly different games on on the same day.

Oh and it turns out that my settings had been turned back to default, like instead of speeds and what not being in KPH it was in MPH, which I didnt notice until yesterday, almost a week later.
