Hello, right now I think i'm infected with a virus. I got 2 AVs and i'm using both of them to scan my PC. There was a virus called "explorer.exe"(NOT microsoft's product). Currently i'm on Internet Explorer 7. I got system restore in one bar in case. What should I do to get this terrible virus out of my computer? I am SCARED to death.

well for starters stay off the internet until its fixed.

Oh ok. I do not what happened. Windows Defender is telling me that it is not infected but my system seems weird. I need to be on the Internet at the moment because I need help with this issue. What should I do people?

Try to get some programs like Ad-Aware SE or Spybot Search and Destroy. Those usually catch and get rid of stuff if its spyware or adaware.

or download AVG free from www.grisoft.com and it usually does the trick (works for me, no viruses since i've had it on this computer)

AVG is the best imo

I think its malware. My antivirus programs are Windows Defender and Nod32 Antivirus. I think those AVs put a stop on that malware. Currently i'm doing a full system scan on Windows Defender. Now its running good again. What do ya'll think whats wrong with my PC?
