Gran Turismo HD Discussion
they are from 1949-1965(i think) and they only do 58mph max
i can understand the bowler but a series 1 landy?
what where they thinking????
oh well... go landy and bowler
Polyphony doesn't have to worry about all the why didn't you include X or Y in the game. Also when they update to GT6 down the line they already have data for so many cars to choose from. They can eliminate the ones not used in Online gaming pretty quickly to make room for new ones!
Now here is hoping the worlds fastest PRODUCTION (Not made to order like the McLaren F1 etc) car (959) has the proper aerodynamics enabled to allow the 202mph in a RAINSTORM with two fingers on the wheel! Talk about supercar
Ok. The Porsche 959 has an automatic aerodynamic system that has not been seen even on one off Race cars since production ended in 1990. ZERO lift for all road conditions with self adjustment to maintain said condition. It means the car does not get all squirrelly due to acceleration, deceleration, cornering etc. It also means the car corners better than other cars in it's weight class. However it DOES mean you can not adjust the down force to suit your personal driving tastes!
Add the still Novel automatic power distribution through the Porsche RSK transmission. It automatically adjusts power distribution from front to rear to compensate for current driving conditions... 20x80 Front back for acceleration 40x60 for driving on straight road etc. It is the combination of these two systems that allowed one of the Porsche test drivers to take the 959 to 202mph in a rainstorm without a worry in the world for traction as the two systems work in concert to maintain proper equilibrium of the car for existing road conditions.
it is also the reason Porsche was selling each 959 for 1/half the cost to BUILD THEM (thus the 3 year production run of ~260 total machines.)
Now the REASON the 959 was built in such quantity was so Porsche could enter the 959 on the production car Group B Touring (200 Car minimum to enter) circuits that ran in Europe in the Mid-late 80s and early 1990s. Remember my comments about a PRODUCTION car vs a Special Order car?
Clear it up enough?
