Well I absolutely hate the Prince of Persia series, but I LOVE THIS!!! The combat is sooo realistic, the storyline is sheer brilliance, and the graphics are outta this world! I can't really recommend this to anyone in particular, but it is a truly fantastic game.
It isn't hard. Oh no,not at all. It's IMPOSSIBLE!

Batesman i think prince of persia is a really good game clearly you have not played prince of persia much or actully completed them the story line is great and the realism is brillant it's a game you can just sit there and play for as long as you feel like with hidden comic weapons and extra's to get HP

I always rent everything first anyway...it's what smart gamers do instead of blindly buying a popular game.

I may try this out, but there's still other games I'm going to try out beforehand

Assassin's Creed is excellent, but like a good book or movie you have to give it time to develop. If you invest your time like you invest money you'll reap dividends. I almost gave up myself...I'm happy i didn't.

I loved Assassin's Creed. It's a beautifully done work of art but not perfect. Everything you said was right. However, I can't think of a game that wasn't repititititititous in one way or another. Imagine trying to right code to make every nuance unique. The program would be huge! We ain't there yet. Maybe PS10. And where was my crossbow! Enjoy the game.

I played it for about 7 hours yesterday at the mates house, and here's a couple of thoughts.

    - Why hell do people compare it to Prince of Persia, the two games have bugger all in common.

    - I like the fact its got a unique feel to it compared to other games I have played, specially how almost anything that sticks out of the wall is climbable.

    - Overall it was a good game, well worth buying it.

I have no idea what that guy is talking about... the game is great in my opinion. Logically I always suggest anyone to rent a game before buying, but as for it being to difficult... lol I don't see that. Its been a walk in the park for me and the liquid like smoothness how the action plays out really surprised me. Just had to clear that up, the game is definitely worth the time.

    I just finished this today.

It was alright, the concept was pretty interesting along with the story taking place during the Third Crusade in 1191...

It was fun at times and had it's moments but overall I felt it lacked in a few areas. The control system and mechanics were very hard to get used to...they could of simplified them a lot more, like a stealth mode for example. And why were guards able to jump all over the city with you? I thought you were supposed to be a unique assassin, since when are random guards able to climb tall buildings and structures...also there were several assassinations (certainly the Robert imposter one) were you become overly frustrated and find yourself in an impossibly outmaned situation...this happens too much in the game.

Regardless I stuck at it and finished it. Not really my kind of game but like I said it was fun in small doses....I'd recommend this only for the very patient gamer, you have to be willing to learn from your mistakes if you really want to master the game...I'd say Acre was my favorite city with horseriding being my favorite part of the game.
