The tuning menu tells you how to tune the cars.

Whats the best way to learn how to upgrade the cars?

    Trial and error.

Or you could read the very extensive guide on this site...

Tuning a car can make a car even worse than before,if you don't know what you're doing. It has happened to me. So,if you don't know how to tune its best not to attempt it.

The only way you learn, on the other hand, is by actually fiddling around with it. I had massive understeer problems with my Golf GTi at one point, so I decided to mess around with it. After a few hours of trial and error methods, I finally corrected the understeer. I learnt tuning the hard way - by actually getting up off my lazy arse and finding out.

    That's what I meant. Your fault you're lazy. -_-

Anywho, I'm falling in love with the 03 Mustang. That thing drifts like I've never seen before. Sounds ****ing amazing, too. I've failed so far as to beat my own record with it, but I reckon that's more my fault than the car's fault. I need to get used to it.
