Horsepower doesn't mean high speeds. Tuners are made for their handling and aren't meant to go 250 MPH. Exotics are aerodynamic and are made for speeds of over 200 MPH. Tuners might be able to get that fast but in 0-250 drag race the tuner gets smoked. Slow down once in a tuner and the exotics get so far ahead you might as well give up.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

In real life, does anybody drag exotics? Not unless you're a rich fool. Drags are made for Muscle cars, not for Tuners and Exotics.

I was referring to the drag from 0-250 at the start of each speed race. That first section defines the front runners. The LP640 accelerates insanely fast out pacing any tuner.

Yeah,I know that, but it just hit me about real drag racing. You can't do in reality what you can on a game.

We have legal drag racing tournaments in Umm AL Quwain (a city) and in the grande finale, it's usually some Supra or Mazda, or even a Porsche. The finalist faces off against the Sheikh - in a custom-tuned Lamborghini Diablo SV. Churns out close to 900BHP and does a standing quarter in just under 8 seconds. That thing has speed in a whole new dimension.

That's the whole point of a game. Why the hell would you spend $60 on a plastic disc so you can do something you could do in real life. Just do it in real life.

So, on that basis, why does Forza and GT exist?
