So, I assume everyone has at least one fascination that borders on obsession. I have a few that have passed that line. This topic is devoted to both your own, and my obsessions, which I shall list here in no particular order.
1. Steampunk- A style based on Victorian culture and architecture, however, which huge helping portion of technology and brass. Remember that giant steam powered spider from the movie "wild wild west" that's fairly steampunk. If your interested in learning more, Id suggest checking out the following website.
Link2. Goggles- Somewhat related to the above, goggles are a huge staple in steampunk art. I don't mean swimming goggles, I'm talking welding and medical goggles. Round tinted lenses with brass frames. Think WW2 aviator and snow goggles and you'll have the right idea.
3. Top Hats- They go very nicely with the above two. They also convey a slight sense of insanity (mad hatter-ism) and look great with a guitar. Heck, you can get more "insom" than that.
4. Zeppelins- Once again, related to steampunk, but its so much more. Not only is it fuel efficient and deathly silent (which makes it ideal for a zombie invasion) its plain awesome and gave it name to the best band of all time.
5. 60's and 70's- The art, the style, the furniture, the music, it was all awesome. You can guarantee my first house is going to have orange shag carpet and framed album covers (at least, if its not Victorian or located in a zeppelin) If I could travel through time and live in any time for the rest of my live, I'd go straight to the early 1970s in a heartbeat.
6. Zombies- I'm sure some of the members here remember both mine and zeths warnings about the upcoming zombie apocalypse...head our warning!
