Here comes my first post !!! Tadaaaaa !!!
Patch 1.1 for The Witcher released today !!! One day before official worldwide release and five before Us arrival !!
I hope Great Master Caliber will update his trainer soon (useful in Hard Mode )
Patch downloaded but not installed, the first version is almost stable with few bugs but not critical ... And I don't want my 20 hours saving could be invalidated !!

The only thing that doesnt work with savegames in patch is some localization fixes according to the readme file, and I quote " - A whole lot of localization fixes (some of them won't work with old savegames!). " , thats from the patch readme file. So you can go ahead and patch it, works fine for me.
