I know, but I'm just making up idea's for modes for the game. Yeah in real life they could, but you can always launch a balistic missle at it to detenate it before it gets to your country. Still, I think it would be neat if that was a game mode. Defend your motherland . And in some countrys, they build a bunker to store nuclear missles in a heavily fortifed bunker around 1,000 miles from their countrys. But you can go digging in Russia and find a nuke in a backyard. But your right, they could retaliate with another nuke, but it would be useless because they country would be on Defcon 2, maybe 1, since they know the country would retaliate in a way. But in the game you could launch an attack on the launch base and stop the nuclear countdown, or make the nukes detenate safely in the air. If you failed, your country would be in a crysis and you would be wide open for attack and would have no clue where and when they would attack.

Dude, you put up a really good fight! But, if you consider the "Defend Your Motherland" mode, think of all the maps Sierra and Massive have to put in the game. I think there are games that are like that, though, but I can't remember the name. If the United States was to be attacked today, not that I would want that to happen, we would be crippled because we depend so much on technolgy and electric devices. An EMP from a nuclear detonation would disable those devices. Back in the Cold War, the United States Stragegic Air Command had about two airborne command centers that are EMP resistant and can cordinate attacks in the air. Whenever one of those aircraft landed, another one would be taking off. Also, Air Force One was EMP resistant too!

Yeah....but not nuclear blast resistant

But yeah you're right some of the maps are like that, but nothing can survive a nuclear blast, no civilian, building, jet, helicopter, nobody can, so if that base is caught in the blast, there goes the ability to attack with air force when it is hit. I hope some day that they will make a game like this though, it would be on the top of my list of games to buy. In WiC, it could make it where air would be unavalible to the side that got hit by the nuclear bomb. The other team could rush in and take over everywhere.

Hm....there could be a strategic map and it shows the places and towns that your country control and what the other team can control. The city that got hit with the blast and any area within 1,000 miles, would be white and would be to dangerous to enter until it clears up. But if 1 country has no citys or places left, the other side would win, and it would all start all over .

P.S. I live for dangerous weapons and bombs they make the world go round .

Yeah, kind of like the interface for Star Wars: Empire at War.

P.S. you could avoid the blast from a nuclear blast by flying at a high altitude.

Yeah, if your a couple thousand feet up above from the explosion. The plan might meet turbelance and have major problems. But still, it would probably knock out the ability to have helicopters.

P.S. I love superweapons, I watch the military chanel a lot over new and dangerous weapons.

Superweapons is a dude too! He posts on this message board. The plane can have a sturdy frame to withstand that stuff.

Guys can you play as the Russians?

I know Superweapons the person. I'm talking about high-tech killing bombs and weapons. Newer games should focus more on that instead of standard light mg's and lower-level nuclear bombs. World in Conflict didn't have as many things I expected it to have, but the Tactical nuke on it isn't even close to being a real nuke.
