I saw a thing on the news where this lady almost chocked to death while driving, she'd bitten into a pie she bought and it had a 3cm (about 1 1/2 inch) bone in it and it caught in her throat, if her husband hadn't been in the passenger seat she could have crashed and died.

and. not all pies make you choke. specially if u cut the apples into smaller pieces. So you should STILL eat apple pie!
