Just finished the Microsoft press conference and the pre-show. I've scanned my notes and hosted them on an image site, but my handwriting is basically chicken scratches, so I'll write a short summary here as well.

Topics- Big titles- Halo single player graphics will be better than multi player. PS3 Price drop, 360 will not drop in price to counter. Rock band is said to release on the 360 before other consoles.

Showed off rock band, the band played badly, although the game looked great. Every game shown will be released this year. Mass effect to be released in NOV. Start of giant list of games to be released this year.

Giant list continued (Crash Bandicoot coming to the 360!). Showed new XBL arcade games. Disney and other studio movies now available on XBL. Showed gears of war for the PC, with 5 new chapters, and other features.

Gears cont. showed demos of a few games, Devil May cry to come out later this year, Splinter cell will be 360 only. Announced Resident evil 5 (only game not being released this year) Showed assassins creed gameplay, wrapped up with halo 3 videos and a new halo 3 themed xbox 360 painted master chief green with halo themed accessories.

Devil May Cry, 360 only?

thats what they said, its going to be a 360 exclusive.

5 chapters, not acts. Chapters are the little small sections of a act, 5 chapters isn't even a full act.

I watched e3 last night for 360 it was cool. No point in watching wii or ps3. They might as well say for wii "****ty ps2 ports on the way all through 2007 with more compatibility for your grandma" and for PS3 they might as well say "Why are we here, we're going to drop out like the sega dreamcast due to our consoles not selling and doing the worst of the 3. Oh and all our games are **** and the good ones are being stolen from 360"

Yeah really...as much as I hate to say it. I think we can see a monopoly in the gaming industry with the 360 and M$'s next console coming shortly.

Gears for PC will be available for XP as well as vista, so you don't have to miss out.

I heard that too. But I'm not willing to buy another game.

Hopefully it will be released as downloadable content if possible.

OMG a new Crash Bandicoot game , its about time. I love Crash. Crash Tag Team Racing... a legendarfy game
