any chance someone could make a mod that allowed you to use any car on any track, its really annoying that they restricted the choices to the types of race. any help would be appreciated.

This is easy enough for anyone to do!

You have to copy the content of the track-folder you want to play to the track-folder of the track with the car you want to use.

E.g. copy the contents of
Colin McRae Dirt\tracks\super_special\germany_ss

to

Colin McRae Dirt\tracks\baja\bark_river

(if you want to drive with the baja in germany)

Colin McRae Dirt\tracks\italy\olbia_02 is the folder of the third track.

hmm, dosent seem to work for me

i copy the files from:
D:\program files\Codemasters\DiRT\tracks\hillclimb\pikes_peak

into

D:\program files\Codemasters\DiRT\tracks\baja\bark_river

and it has no effect on teh game.

Hm... anyone know how to mods this game EASILY ?

ok i figured it out

what i did is that i copied the track (chula)to the raid rally folder,then i removed one raid rally track folder and name (chula )same as the folder i removed from the raid rally folder.then i started the game and chose the track in raid rally and guess what ,my misubushi was driving in chula,i not only won the game i broke the world record for chula too,if you did not understand what i wrote or how to do it write me at flyingskunk60@mail.ru
