    Hi Guys,

    No problems, hope you find the info useful...

    I havn't looked through all of the files/folders yet and read what I can, but I would say there are ways to change to values.

    Kaizer,

    Having a quick look, I would think that the build time has something to do with the Economy. For example, the UEF Land Scout:

    Economy = {
    BuildCostEnergy = 80,
    BuildCostMass = 12,
    BuildTime = 40,
    MaxEnergyUse = 80,
    MaxMassUse = 10,
    MinBuildTime = 100,
    TeleportEnergyMod = 0.15,
    TeleportMassMod = 1,
    TeleportTimeMod = 0.01,
    },

    The last 3 entries you would leave, but have a look at the rest, BuildCostEnergy and BuildCostMass, these are how much it will cost you to build, so what if you lowered them?

    Also, BuildTime & MinBuildTime, these would be how long the unit takes to build/train, half them to 20 & 50 respectivily, so it would be BuildTime = 20 & MinBuildTime = 50, see what happens.

    i just have a simple question regarding editing the units and using them on a campaing, cause they work fine in the skirmish but not on campaing. is there a reason why and if so can it be fix? any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    In the campaign you have only certain units that the game lets you have, this increases as you progress through the campaign, so the further you go through the campaign the more units become available.

    The game only has 1 (one) units.scd, which means that all unit data is kept in that file, so if you edit any units, when it becomes available in the campaign it should be the edited version. Some games keep seperate data files for use through the campaign missions, but Supreme Commander doesn't so by editing the units.scd file it should effect the campaign also.

    I'll have to test this out, I have only just started my way through the campaign, so I have not done this yet.

    Also has links up top for a simple mod that gives you the full tech tree in Campaign mode. I've been using it for a while; very nice.
