when you install the game for some reason it is version 1.2 the trainer only works with version 1.0, so does anyone know how to get my game back down to version 1.0

i did that ages ago and for some reason it is still installing the version 1.2 instead of tversion 1.0, i duuno why. I installed it and viewed the readme file and it came up version 1.2. ive tried everytging i know
