ugh I hated fighting him the second time...here's what i did:
Fill ALL item slots with elixrs and/or hi-potions Make sure you have mastered how to use ars arcinum (sry for spelling) because if you push the buttons at the right time you'll do a lot more damage. If you wanna practice it go to Merlin in Third district @ Traverse Town. Use healing items or cure as needed. Make sure you stay out of the way (glide) whenever he dashes across constantly to avoid a lot of damage. Use aeroga as much as possible so you don't take as much damage if you get hit.
