im new at pc games could someone please explain to me what it means by find the file go to note pad ang game options and all that, could someone give me a walkthrough of how to start the cheat codes

In your game dir edit swkotor.ini and under [Game Options] add EnableCheats=1 then when playing press ' to bring down console

i suggest you to use the savegame editor. It may be a litle hard to use in the start, but you will learn it
