How do i make build Speeds Faster?

Whats up, new maybe but ive been downloading from here for at least 3 years, , anyways i am playing Star Wars: empire at war, i got the rebel cheat mod/empire cheat mods for use in either one i play, but the thing is i dont want them speeded up, but i want near instant build speeds, but i cant get it from those mods, so i need to know what line its in. please if you can reply soon, thanks .

Are there any units in particular that you want sped up or do you want all of them sped up?

(thinks to self) Finally get a post but not really any help) lol no offense, i want ALL my units sped up in build times
its HORRIBLE waiting for a darned T4-B tank taking 40 seconds to build, it means 40 seconds of my life wasted when i could be out making realistic warfare! lol (i love cheathappens for this Devil face ! )

First of all, I know that you know at least 80% of this stuff, I just figured I'd say it all and you could pick through it to find something useful.

There are two options.
a.
Press the fast forward button and EVERYTHING speeds up.
or...
b.
get the .meg extractor, it's in the guide to cheating w/ eaw if you don't have it. The follow the instructions and extract config.meg into a bunch of xml files, open the following file for instance:
DATA%XML%SPACEUNITSCAPITAL.xml
with notepad.
Use Edit-> find and search for the following:
Build_Time_Seconds
This should send you to at least ONE of the units pieces of data, but make sure it's not a empire faction unit or else THEY have the advantage.
After you are done save it to the game's directory in gamedata/data/xml and rename it as whatever it was minus the data%xml% stuff before the actual name.
Sadly, when I searched the file that contains the t4b tank the search box could not find the build time anywhere, so it's probably somewhere within another file(or I made a typo while searching). The file is called Groundvehicles.xml by the way.
Anyways, you can simply modify the time to .1 for near instantaneous build times(I haven't tested 0 because I fear it might cause a crash because I schedule most of my building while the game is paused so as to keep the computer player from gaining an advantage).

I hope that something in here works for you.

Double post sry! The GroundInfantry and GroundVehicles dont have build time yeah, but maybe we can create it?

Well, the system is flexible enough to allow me to make some edits giving units who did not have shields in the first place 99990 points of shield with a 9999 refresh rate, it probably might, but I would first suggest changing into specialstructures.xml and change the delay between spawns there before doing that because I tried to manipulate one mod once and I ended up having to reinstall.

no..not a good idea.

What you need to do is find the "Groundcompanies****" xml files. THOSE have the build speeds.
replace **** with Empire or Rebel.

That should help a LOT.
