It will definitely be a lot more realistic, remember in old ones when you shot at any enemies they immediately know where you are? Not anymore, they actually look around and it takes them time to find you so you can take out a few men before they even realize where you're firing from.
How your enemies react to being shot is also different. You can shoot a guy in the leg and he'll fall down or in the arm and he'll drop his gun. So you can take out a threat without killing him. Good if you want to conserve some ammo with some accurate targeting.
