where am i supposed to place the save game? its a .sav and there is no other .sav file in the whole just cause directory...help

You place the save game in C:\Documents and Settings\my stuff\My Documents\JustCause\Saves\JCSaves
Yours will have a different drive letter and name, but the My documents, Just Cause, Saves then JCSaves, and paste it in there.
If you want to keep your old saves make a folder new to it called backup and copy the original save in the JCsave file into the backup folder.
Then paste my save into the folder.
