i say that all the starters strong if u take a good care 4 it i mean any starter u take just make strong then its will be good note:grovyl(treeko`s evolve)will make some problems in dewford gym any way i beat the game with them and i like blaziken

ive used blaziken nd got to steven in the elite 4 ive used mudkip and got to well actually this is the first time i used it so its a working process i suggest mudkip so far over blaziken though

Hey, thanks so much for your input! I've already started the game now though, and I started with Treecko. It's an interesting little pokemon. Kind of weak, but it just evolved into grovyle, and now it's much faster and has a moderate special attack, which is excellent for me. However, I'm sure mudkip could easily beat my Grovyle in the long run, which means you're probably much wiser than I, sir! Thanks for replying, and thanks for posting! I commend you!

i would say mudkip to he is stong and at lvl52 learns earthquake but even befor that he get watergun and it is relly strong to use with him and keep watergun never get rid of it, it just keeps just geting stonger and it is very affective on 6 out of 8 and once you beat the 3rd or 4th gem leader abra and a baltoy and put them in day care and wet them get like 10 lvl ups and then take them out and then lvl them up 1lvl and thay evolve, abra evolves in to kadabra and baltoy evolves in to claydoll.so thous are good poke'mon to have i am on my 8th gym and it is because of them i got to where i am so that is my tip to a new starter so good luck beating the game it is hard but after a little bit you get the hang of it and then it gets easyer and aging good luck
