Jump from the stairs closest to you when you start to the blue ledge above Kid's Choice Clothing. Keep following the walkway past the stuffed bear all the way to the end to find it.

The easiest way I've found is...

At the very beginning of the game, one of the survivors has a shotgun. After he dies pick it up. Go grab a few gallons of Orange Juice and pick up a pistol. Go to the Gun Shop and hide behind the little shelves. You should be able to angle it where you can shoot around the shelve but he can't shoot through it. Time the shots with the shotgun, he should be dead with 8 shots.

In the beginning when you’re fighting off zombies in the mall entrance there is a shotgun between the staircases. I pick this up every time. Anyway, make your way to the gun store. When you start fighting simply pick up the rack to the left and move to the corner of the L shaped counter. Pull out the shotgun while hiding behind the rack. Commence firing! You should still have a quarter to half the rounds left over when you’re done. Towards the end I sometimes pull out a sword and start hacking away. I usually get him with one to two hits with a katana when he’s about dead. This wont work for everyone, but it works for me.
