to get cloud's all u have to do is beat ultimate weapon.....use ultima on it and it will be easy....you don't have to use knights of the round.....i never got them because i couldn't breed the chocobo....STUPID CHOCOBO....well if u got the ultimate weapon for cloud and are looking for tifa's just find the sector 7 key ...it's in the digsite.....and go to the wall market and go in the items shop then push circle or x on the computer then there it is

Minor spoiler warning:
Barrett’s: When you return to Midgar at the end of the second disk after the fight with Proud Cloud, switch Barrette in to your party and it'll be in a chest on the way up to the cannon.
Red XIII/ Nanaki's: return to Cosmo Canyon during disk three.
Yuffie's: In the sunken plane in the room next to the save point.
Cait Sith's: At the end of disk two when in Midgar in the train tunnel, keep on going to the right until you came to a dead end, there is a ladder to the left that will let you go into the Shinra Building, Cait Sith's Ultimate weapon will be in the gym locker where Cloud found a mega phone in disk one.
Vincent's: Behind a waterfall between the gold saucer and Cloud's home town (I forgot the name), you will need to go there by either a mountain, mountain and river, ocean chocobo or by the submarine (Note: you will have to go there twice and you have to wait about an hour between the first time and second time you go there).
Cid’s: Once the rocket is gone, talk to the man that always stares at it (Note: Power wise the Venus Gospel isn't the most powerful of Cid’s weapons, the Flayer has 101 attack and can be found in the Gold saucer in the speed arena if you get 5000+ points).

The dig site is in Bone village on the northern continent.
