here is some info on missingo no or "m" as you might know him as. he is very interesting. BUT BE WARNED! HE WILL MESS UP YOUR GAME AND SO WILL THE OTHER POKEMON THAT YOU FIND OVER LEVEL 100 DOING THIS TRICK! I USED RED VERSION AND IT REALLY MESSED IT UP!MISSINGNO
Who and what Missingno?
Missingno is a glitch mess-up in the game but he's more of a NON-hazardous virus: a bug in the game. Missingno is widely known as the "Enigma Pokémon".
Missingno will put a virus in your game, but not permanently. I have heard that Missingno will erase your game that is NOT true! If you catch Missingno, everything will be the same but if you look at Missingno's stats, then your graphics will get weird for a little while, then go back to normal. This is how you run into Missingno: First, fly to Northern Viridian City. There, ask the old man with the coffee. Tell him 'NO' one or more times. Then, fly to Cinnabar Island. Swim or SURF along the east coast (of Cinnabar Island) so it looks like you're half on land and half on water. Keep surfing up and down the east coast until you run into a Pokémon. If it's Missingno, the screen will be black for 3 seconds because the game is all confused. Then you run into him Missingno (He looks like a backward Utah only taller). Then, if you battle it and catch it, it'll put a temporary virus in the game. Once you run into Missingno, your Pokemon Hall of Fame will be messed up permanently (that doesn't really matterthe Pokemon Hall of Fame is not accentual to your game). There is also another type of Missingno known as 'M which is the exact same thing only more messed up. This is what his stats look like:
'M's stats are very low because he is usually at Level 0. As you can see, he is No. 000 just like Missingno, and when you look at his stats, his picture will NOT appear (just like Missingno). See those weird blocks next to 'M's name? Those are glitch boxes that appear that change all the time. That's why 'M commonly referred to as 'M Block 'M is usually a lot weaker than Missingno since it appears at level 0 a lot, but 'M looks exactly like Missingno. If you catch 'M and use a rare candy on it, it will evolve into a Kangaskhan. It will also evolve into a Kangaskhan if it is captured and gains experience points. This is one rumor that happens to be true. To stop it from evolving into Kangaskhan, just press B repeatedly. Evolution of the elusive 'M occurs at level 1.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you used Ditto and transformed into Missingno? Well, I've tried it and it's quite odd. First of all, you'll be looking at the back of Missingno instead of the front (the back of Missingno's head is a random block of static)! You'll also be able to see Missingno's head if you catch it. If you catch Missingno you can use its attacks (below), or you can use its attacks by simply transforming into it with a ditto. But using Missingno is really cool once you catch it! ALSO, (NOTE FROM ME)BY DOING THIS TRICK, YOU COULD FIND SOME OVER LEVEL 100 POKEMON, SUCH AS MEWTWO, BUT IF YOU TRY TO GROW THEM ANY LEVELS THEN THEY WILL CONTINUOUSLY GO DOWN LEVELS!
