Can anybody tell me the point in buying this if you already own Pokemon Sapphire or Pokemon Ruby? There are hardly any differences, not much point unless you are a MAJOR Pokemon fan.

Well there's the Battle Frontier, more areas to explore, and some new things to do.
And there's also a new 8th Gym Leader.
