No sorry. You only catch shadow pokemon (Ho-oh maybe an exception but I don't know). LOLZ!!
you can catch shadow pokemon you just need a action replay.
You don't need an AR, catching a shadow pokemon is just like catching any other pokemon on Saphire...
This is all thanks to that wierd thing on the Heros arm, that looks like he is half pokemon, half Fire Emblem...
