Guests are people that either don't have an account, or they do have an account, but haven't logged into it. They can't post.
Members are logged in... members.

There is no real way to see if your FAQ has been accepted, unless a Founder contacts you or you see that you are an AUTHOR.
Wait about two weeks or so after submitting the FAQ and if no change then add something to it or make it more detailed because it was probably rejected.
