Doesn't matter since cheats from the game will not change and are considered fact. Facts are not protected by copyright laws.

You only become an author if you submit a FAQ, you help out the site when you submit cheats.

It doesn't really matter. Text or Word document, both stretch the page unless you work out the kinks.

I submitted my first FAQ in a Word Document, it was submitted fine all it did was stretch the page, and Notepad or Wordpad will stretch the page as well unless you put in line break, or break the lines by yourself.

I always tell everyone to write your document in Microsoft Word, then save it as a PLAIN TEXT (DO NOT CONFUSE WITH RICH TEXT) Document.

Select the following options as well as you are saving it as a PLAIN TEXT document in Microsoft Word-

    LINE BREAKS
    CHARACTER SUBSTITUTION
    OTHER ENCODING

Then, if you open your document in Wordpad or Notepad, the lines should be broken and not stretched.
