look for : export_descr_unit.txt in Rome - Total War\Data

look for :

stat_cost Number of turns to build,
Cost of unit to construct,
Cost of upkeep,
Cost of upgrading weapons,
Cost of upgrading armour,
Cost for custom battles

stat_ownership List of factions and cultures that may have this unit

the ones with the stars i change them and the game

still working

ownership : you only need to know the right name of the unit ownership and add your correct faction name
for example :>
type roman archer
ownership romans julii,romans brutii,romans scipii,romans senate

make it :>
type roman archer
ownership romans julii,romans brutii,romans scipii,romans senate,macedon,numidia

when you run the game it should be that if you play with macedon you can train roman archer

this is for the unit stats

2nd : the buildings

look for : export_descr_buildings.txt in Rome - Total War\Data

search for :

construction : is for the turn you take to complete the building ( is mnimum any thing else is maximum )
but i think 99 is the maximum

cost : is for the money you spend to begin the building

gate_defences : is the stat of your wall and gate defences ( 1 is minimum 9 is maximum )

gate_strength : is the stat of your wall and gate strength ( 1 is minimum 9 is maximum )

the next stats you can add it to any building you want under

recruits_morale_bonus bonus : is the bonus add to your recruits_morale_bonus ( 1 is minimum 9 is maximum)

recruits_exp_bonus bonus : is the bonus add to your recruits_exp_bonus ( 1 is minimum 9 is maximum)

trade_base_income_bonus bonus : is the bonus add to your trade_base_income_bonus ( 1 is minimum 999 is maximum)

population_health_bonus bonus : is the bonus add to your population_health_bonus ( 1 is minimum 999 is maximum)

population_growth_bonus bonus : is the bonus add to your population_growth_bonus ( 1 is minimum 999 is maximum)

law_bonus bonus : is the bonus add to your law_bonus ( 1 is minimum 999 is maximum)

i think it Obvious but as you can add you can delete so you make your opponent factions become more and more weak

look for : export_descr_ancillaries.txt in Rome - Total War\Data

its so easy all you need to do is to add from 1 to 9 or -1 to -9

for example open the export_descr_ancillaries.txt

and look for

Ancillary actor
Image effete_man_ancillary.tga
ExcludedAncillaries comedian, playwright
ExcludeCultures barbarian, carthaginian, eastern, egyptian, roman
Description actor_desc

Effect Influence 1

you see the " Effect Influence 1 "

okey change it to " Effect Influence 9 " for best effect

or change it to " Effect Influence -9 " for worest effect

Warning : not all the effect are good for those who cant understand all the english word please check for the effect meaning to know if its bad
or good if it bad add -1 to -9 if it good add 1 to 9

its all work like it , just look for the effect word and change the number to get what you want

also you can add more effects or delete more effect from any ancillary

5th : The imperial campaign

look for : export_descr_character_traits.txt in Rome - Total War\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign

this one i think it will need a little more work

but i will try to take you step by step

this is for change your faction genreals traits and ancillaries , age and army stats

okey here we go :>

first : the faction genreals ages

its easy just change your faction leader age to 16

sorry but i couldnt make it work for all my generals

second : the faction generals traits and ancillaries

you will need to open the ( export_descr_character_traits.txt / export_descr_ancillaries.txt ) that you already hack them and change them

now select some of the traits and ancillaries that you make them with good stats and add them to your general

as example :

character Flavius Julius, named character, leader, command 0, influence 0, management 0, subterfuge 0, age 47, , x 89, y 82
traits GoodCommander 2, NaturalMilitarySkill 1, GoodDefender 1, PoliticsSkill 3, GoodAdministrator 2, Austere 1
ancillaries aged_retainer


after the change i make them for myself like this

you will find your army under your generals ancillaries and it will be for " flavius Julius " like this

and also you can add some other units but i dont suppose to do this because it may not work but i add one unit and its work
