Empires: Dawn of the Modern World Message Board  

HELP.
I am having a big problem. Whenever i go to try and install the game about 35% of the way done it gives me an error saying D:\Docs\Licence.rtf
Then I cant install anymore.
What can be done to help this?

if i was you i would try cleaning the cd and if that doesnt work hold the cd up to a light and see if the light shines through in any spots if it does go return the game and exchange it for another copy you should be able to because if there are holes in the data it is a manufaturing defect. i hope this helps

mine on this computer will let me install it but then when i click on cmpaign or try to play a battle it just turnss the game off and goes to the desktop. i dunno what to do??

Ok, the reason the game crashes is because for each chapter 1 of the games, it must have internet access for at least 3 seconds. For example;
Click on (Richard Lion Heart Campaign) before clicking on the start button, turn on the internet then click on start & once you see the game loading then you can turn the internet off. You won’t need the internet for the rest of the Richard Lion Heart Campaign. However keep in mind that you will need the internet to start each chapter 1 of the campaign like Admiral Yi & General Patton.

I don’t have an answer for why the idiots who made the game does that but it is the only way it will work.

Not sure if I can be of help, sounds like the file on the disk got ruined like mine did. I copied everything from disk 1 over to the computer in a file I named EDMW_1, had some give me copy of the (License) file for their game & replaced the old one. Reburn it to a new disk & it started working for me. I can give you my file if you feel like doing that?
