    I have two seperate issues with the Aurora Steam Deck Tool, and Aurora itself (portable AND installer).

    1. For the Steam Deck Tool, it never properly installs but continues through the steps and closes and restarts both programs. When Steam Deck Tool is reopened, its just the installer again though and trying to run games under Aurora as the Compatibility tool crashes.

    2. When trying to run Aurora under any method it always results with an error window and causes the window to flash extremely fast randomly and makes input extremely hard and unreliable. The trainers still work but are nigh impossible to use.
    The details of the error that shows is(may not be perfect but the strings of character are 100% accurate);

    System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializerr for 'System.Management.WmiNetUtilsHelper' threw an exception.
    --> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (126): Failed to load required native library

    Upon clicking OK I can switch windows to regain control but its too spotty to use. I can upload video of these errors and provide deeper logs if needed. I'd love to get this tool working specifically for the Lenovo Legion Go and I'd even be willing to compensate for the effort of ensuring compatibility. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

    1. You're using another Linux distribution, not the Steamdeck. Its likely that the Steam path is different, thus the tool thinks its not installed. It expects to be installed in %username%/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/AuroraLauncher

    2. Disable the process watcher in Aurora settings.

    Correct, it comes with windows but I've dual booted Bazzite which is a steamos clone. I'll attempt to disable the process watcher in Aurora and I'll double check steams path. I'm almost positive this is this case, in such a situation is there a way to change where SDT looks for steam at, or change steams default paths? Thanks for the great information as well!

    Process watcher was disabled and the same stack with errors regarding WmiNetUtilsHelper still pops up! Also I discovered that input is so damn hard because the game window is attempted to hijack mouse control regardless of the active window. I got a second new error message actually.

    Workaround found, cheats working.
    You have to use Proton Experimental for your game, use cheatdeck decky plugin, login, disable process watcher, and that solves the flashing window. Every time a controller is detected or the cheat is opened there's always a new error window created, but clicking OK and closing it allows me to continue. I can use touch screen to scroll and enable cheats but I HAVE TO MAKE SURE ALL ERROR WINDOWS ARE CLOSED otherwise input focus will be stolen and you can't interact with the main Aurora window. I have crashed a few times but not again yet after using cheat deck, will update if I crash again. So far it's working great on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Once Denuvo unbans my account in 24hrs I'll test this with Hogwarts Legacy again. **** Denuvo btw. Right now I'm waiting for my Tier 7 lifetime membership I just bought to kick in too. Aurora/CheatHappens is definitely my favorite tool for trainers now. 3 years ago I would have been caught dead before I paid for a membership, I'm glad I have no regrets.

    So, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has no issues with this method. Trying to use Aurora with Hogwarts Legacy led to Aurora crashing when trying to load a trainer, 3 times consecutively and then I simply either waited a little longer and made sure to disable hardware acceleration as that affects usability aswell and eventually the trainer loaded fine, but cursor input is locked to a single location in the game window, touchscreen is needed to navigate cursor only menus such as the Field Guide(damn near soft locks you when you have to track a mission to continue, its possible but takes 300 tries and you have to SPAM those buttons). One other difference was I loaded the trainer at the "Press any button" start screen the last time instead of at the character select screen. This is a fun journey, hope this information is useful and leads to improvements!
