Steam Deck Discussion

When I double click AuroraLauncher after unzipping the file it keeps asking what program to use to execute file, sorry I'm not savvy when it comes to Linux so I'm not sure what to do next.

Sorry it sounds like you're trying to open it under Windows? AuroraLauncher is a linux application made for Steamdeck (which is running Linux by default). So you must download it on your Steamdeck and open it from there.

I actually have it downloaded on my steam deck which is why I'm completely confused. Sorry I'm at work once I get a chance I'll try to post a screen shot

Sorry I ended up taking on my phone since I was at work but here's the screenshot.

Right click on the file, choose properties then permission and check the box "allowing to execute the file". I currently don't remember how exactly its spelled so it might be a little bit different.

It still does the same thing after I've changed the permission
