I'd like to get this game, but way too many reviews say the same thing, Don't Buy. A waste of the Stargate IP, shame really. It could have just been an XCOM spin-off more than anything, but they had to defile the SG brand.

Steam has a demo. Get the demo and play it, see how you like it before believing the reviews. It's a little too much strategy planning for my tastes, but you might like it.
