Hey the tool updated the other days and now I'm getting a visual c++ runtime error when booting any game. The launcher runs but games crash and I get an error message. It seems to start out by trying to launch in Proton 3.6 which I've never seen before.

I reverted to old version which has fixed the issue for now. Any advise?

Yes, open the game configuration screen in SD tool, select the game change the Proton version to something higher.
