Ever since I updated the tool Elden ring and Palworld loads fine and I can activate the trainer but doesn’t register the controller option and I can’t use controller options for the game only thing that works is the track pad. Am I missing an option? Thank you for any advice or help

I am having the same issue as well. I think there were other people on a Reddit thread who were having the issue after the latest update. You're not alone!

Same here, it's like they didn't even test the latest release, and I can't go back to the previous version... well, back to just using steam tinker I guess.

The ONLY change in 1.9 was that SD tool is using the lowest Proton version now instead of the latest.
So open the game config in SD tool and change the Proton version of the game to the LATEST instead (probably Proton Experimental).

It is no longer possible to change anything in the SD Tool.😆 I didn't pay $10 for a tool that doesn't work! 😁
