I can understand your point. On the other hand what if both were set to different keys because someone has set it on trainer settings before. I think this can be really confusing for people when trainer options suddenly get disabled and they don't know where this came from and its hard to figure it out because settings are split all over the places.
Personally I think that doing this per trainer shouldn't be a big deal because you only have to set it once. Or how many different games do you play in short time that makes this step being a time consuming process?
I can see the extra global option being a bit more confusing cause you're adding just another thing to try and manage. Though I still prefer a one stop all most of the time I wouldn't have to remember if it was set per trainer or not if it was globally always set in the settings.
I play currently not many but sometimes I will bounce between 3-5. I actually don't know for sure does that setting persist through trainer updates? I know that the hotkeys don't cause I have to remove all of them or set them to what I had them as before. If that persists through updates I can set it and forget it per trainer just thought a global option would be nice.
Yes the setting is stored in your "per trainer settings file". So you only have to set it once for a trainer (game).
Hotkeys should also be saved. But you say they are not which sounds like a bug. Do you close the trainer by pressing the X button at the left of aurora or by closing aurora itself?
Oh okay, I guess I can set it and forget it per trainer then.
Ah, no I meant I right click on the hotkeys portion and select "remove all keybinds/hotkeys" or whatever it says but then when the trainer gets an update the hotkeys are back and I have to remove them again. Was just something I had noticed.
