Feedback, Complaints or Problems

Firstly, Happy and Prosperous New Year, my Question is about the Wheel. Now, since the Wheel on Cheat Happens first started, I have only ever been Lucky or Un-Lucky by getting 5,000 credits, or occasionally 10,000 credits or 3or 4 times a new Alias I think, That's about it so how come the Wheel has so many variables the good ones I cannot achieve for some reason, I think It is only fair to all members to know if they are treated the same as I am.
I am NOT writing this because I want to create problems for Chris or any other member of staff, I just want members to know like me why the Wheel (Seems) to be fixed If It is not then why am I so UNLUCKY (Not Shouting) maybe 2024 things will magically change regarding my Luck.

Only real problem with Cheat Happens Prize Wheel is its looks and thus it's creating this kind of confusion and some people think they are unusually unlucky in NOT getting those three (3) BIG prizes (100,000 Reward Credits, Cheat Happens T-Shirt and Free Game (up to $20)).

Wheel is divided in 9 equal spaces but prizes are of course not divided equally, as CH would go out of business in a month if that would be the case.

So, I look at this Wheel as lottery wheel in similar games on TV, where there are like 24-36 parts in wheel and only one part has main prize of lets say 100,000 something, one part with 50,000, two parts with 25,000 and there are 2-4 parts with prizes of 10,000, 4-6 parts with prizes of 5,000 and all other parts are equally distributed with prizes of 2000, 1000, 500 and 250!

On CH Wheel, chances are that best prize (arguably 100,000 Reward Credits valued ca. $40) is in 1% chance to win and other two BIG prizes are in about 2% range; making that like 5% of possibility of those three (3) BIG prizes.
But, that is 5% every time you spin the Wheel and how many times did you win BIG lottery prize, just think!

I personally have spinned the Wheel 91 times since 2017. and got these prizes:

Custom Avatar = 2
Custom Rank = 2
Alias Change = 3
Custom Profile Header = 6
10K RC = 36
5K RC = 42

IMHO, these prizes are perfectly normal distribution for CH Prize Wheel and only misleading thing is its looks on our screens, but changing that is probably easier said than done.

And, also, remember that CH Prize Wheel is mainly just Lifetime PLUS members thing, made as a "Thank you" from CH Team for our support and I look at it like that.
Merely getting the Free Spin every month makes me feel appreciated and prizes are just cherry on top!

@GlorFindel1983 summed this up very nicely. Obviously every spin cannot cost us $40-$50 or there would be no more CH. You need to keep things in perspective. Know how many times I have been to the casino and spent thousands of dollars on slot machines in my lifetime? Too many to count. Want to know the most I have ever won on one of them? $100. ONE TIME. But there are all these pictures on the wall of old people holding checks for $250,000 in front of the same machine I always play, so why don't I win one of those every few times I try? Same reason.

Oh, and replacing the wheel with a new shiny one is on the agenda for the new CH. Also, just last year we actually DOUBLED the percentage of chance of winning one of the bigger prizes. I have 6 big winners sitting in my inbox right now just from yesterday.

Now will the New Wheel from the Old Wheel create problems when 10+ winners could happen monthly? more squares to win more or better prizes with even more squares with less, a balance must be there in order to keep the wheel alive.

Would it be possible to create a Wheel that has squares locked only for certain members? Say for members who have lifetime or higher Tiers.

If you were to win one of these locked prizes you would not be able to unlock it until you either have

-A certain RC balance
-Certain Tier
-Life-time or higher

I don't think we are going to make it that complicated. We will likely switch out some of the prizes with something new but the chances of winning will probably be close to the same as they are now. We will just have to see once we get the code for the new wheel (or we may turn it into a slot machine or other type of mini-game).

Or you could do it like a scratch Card where theres 3 unscratched surfaces and you have to scratch only one of them and neither lets you know what the prizes are.

I'm going to look around for the most awesome mini-game that I can find (which is compatible with our web server/code).
