Cheat Happens Giveaways

Hey everyone,

Welcome to our 7th annual Day of Giving! When I thought up this idea 7 years ago I had no idea that it would turn into what it has become, which is a staple of CH and something that many users look forward to all year long. Thank you guys for making this event so popular and special.

First things first. I currently have COVID and it's pretty bad, but I have never missed a DoG and I don't plan to start now. I will push through it as the show must go on. Just please pardon me if I have to take a pause here or there to grab some meds, etc.

For this year so that the event does not run so long we have made a couple of adjustments. First, we will not have a "GENERAL DISCUSSION" about the giveaway on the message board. This has been moved to our Discord channel to help keep traffic down and we can also address any issues or concerns there much faster. Join at Link. Second, we have condensed some of the prize packs and several packs will only have 1 winner. Should keep things moving along.

THERE WILL BE a *15 MINUTE INTERMISSION* around the half-way point.

Please be aware that this event puts quite the strain on our server so if things are running slowly at times, there is not much we can do about it other than ask everyone to lay off the F5 key until necessary. As long as you have the Who's Online (Link) list open in a separate window/tab, it will keep you "online" and prize eligible. If things slow down too much then we may pause so I can see if anything can be done. Please check Discord for status in that event.

Please remember the #1 rule regarding this event: DO NOT ANSWER I'M HERE IN A PRIZE THREAD UNLESS YOUR NAME WAS CHOSEN! You will get a warning the first time and if it happens a second time your account will be DEACTIVATED until after the event. It's difficult enough watching for the winners to answer, we don't need non winners spamming the threads.

Lastly, if you have not won a prize by the time we reach the GRAND PRIZES, I urge you to stay with us until after those have been awarded. It will be worth your while.

P.S. -- If you happen to win a membership upgrade, this does NOT mean that you are now eligible for the higher tier prize packs. Your membership level remains the same until your prize has been processed and applied. Don't get yourself banned from the giveaway by confusing this rule.
