Is there any way to remove the main page Aurora ad for OperaGX "Get the web browser made for gamers like you download" sponsorship for lifetime premium members?

There has been a sponsored image there since Aurora was started. Most recently it was MajorGeeks and now it is OperaGX. Can you explain what about it bothers you so much? Originally that image was used to open CoSMOS. Anyway, I certainly don't mind 0x90 adding a toggle to turn it off in a future version if it is irritating you and others that much.

I personally will not use Opera GX for various reasons, it's just wasted space for me that could be filled by something useful. I'm not too bothered by it, but I'd rather have an option to disable it

To be clear when you can toggle it off it won't be filled with anything additional. Only the list of top trainers will show more items. But if you don't use it or barely scrolled through it then it won't be "something useful" for you either. Which is one of the reasons why we've chosen this place and not something more intrusive

I really don't see the point of removing it!
It's your sponsor and thus it's needed!
It's not a BIG in-your-face banner, but a small, very small one, in the bottom part of Main/Home Aurora page!
Franky, didn't even see it, until this topic showed up!
I don't use it and will not use it, OperaGX I mean, but it doesn't bother me at ALL!
People these days are really bothered by anything and everything, even if that thing doesn't do them any wrong!
IMHO, just keep it as it is; almost invisible to NORMAL users!

I really appreciate the responses here. It's valid this does not constitute "in your face" spam. It is subtle (as well as major geeks before it). I would like to be able to toggle it on and off for small screen devices like the steam deck. If there are enough cycles to make that change it would be amazing. However, I understand if time is short due to the holidays fast approaching.
