I'm having the same failure. Standard install from Gamepass.

OK ... then if this is the case ... looks like I might have found the solution while looking up the gamepass vs Steam on the game sites .... took some digging but here is what I found.
Just ignore the fact it's talking about mod support, and understand this is talking about the Core Function of the launcher and Platform.

Why Doesn’t SFSE Work with the Xbox or PC Game Pass version of Starfield?
The primary behind SFSE not working on the Xbox or PC Game Pass version of Starfield is that the UWP executable files are different from what are on Steam. Also, it is not easy to develop third-party software to bring libraries into UWP processes, and this is done by design for security reasons. It is not known if SFSE will ever support Starfield bought via PC Game Pass and even if it does, it doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon.


SOOO .... IN REVIEW ........ because the platform (Xbox Gamepass) is closer to that of a release for xbox is likely the reason for this issue. Hence why likely attempting to access the Console is the debug error most of yall are experiencing when attempting to use the trainer.

So please be sure when your posting for an update request clearly that you have tested with or with-out a clean install of the game and the trainer, on your platform.
And not for a shameless plug on Steam is better, but this article I pulled did appear to point out that it suggests getting it on steam, because of this File type difference, is likely to cause conflicts when attempting to make edits to game files can cause some problems.

when the trainer fails i get this error.


Collect Console Cheated 1, Script error in line
"Collect_Reset_Console_Modded"

i run it through the Xbox game pass and it was working fine until last night (mar 20)

the game isn't modded for i don't know how to mod a game on xbox gamepass.
