Question- How do we use the trainer if the laptop I'm using doesn't have a number pad?
thx!
I'd like to add that you can set a preferred starting hotkey in Aurora settings. You can change this from Numpad 1 to for example F1. This works then for all trainers you open and you don't have to change all of the hotkeys yourself. In addition, with 1.8.0 release if you have changed that you can right click on any trainer option hotkey and choose 'Reset All'. This might be necessary as if you got previously saved trainer hotkeys, the 'preferred starting hotkey' is ignored.
Just another shout out to PWizard and all the other folks working on this trainer. Y'll do an INCREDIBLE job keeping apace with a perpetually changing game. I see you just added a timer on the Door Unlock option, just one example of your great work!
I've been a CH member for over 10 years and you NEVER disappoint.
BTW, to my acquaintances who think cheat trainers are unethical I say I use a "game enhancement tool" to maximize my gaming experience.
I've been using trainers for a long time to have fun but last year I became disabled so trainers are more of a need now.
I didn't know that, I'm sorry to hear. Be sure to let us know if we can make any changes or adjustments to Aurora to make things easier for you and/or others in the same situation.
No worries.
I don't have a problem talking about what happened or where I am now, I just don't go around advertising it.
As for the trainers, nothing I can think of.
For this board. Yeah.
I've tried posting something multiple times and it took me a while to realize that the posts were deleted instead of me forgetting to click something.
One of my current issues is major memory loss and brain processing power. It was frustrating for a while because I just assumed it was a me issue.
I would appreciate that if instead of deleting the post with no notice, you either leave it up but edit it deleting the original text and replacing it with something like, "This was deleted because (list the reason)." I still don't know why they were deleted since it eventually clicked that someone was deleting them but if I didn't catch that, I would just keep posting forever, just thinking that I screwed something up at some point.
Or delete it and PM the person with the reason.
I realize that my disability isn't really your concern and I'm probably in the minority for this particular issue so I don't expect a drastic change in how you guys run the board, but you asked and this is the only thing I've really had an issue with.
I also have an issue remembering the various codes by heart now but there isn't anything you can do to fix that so I just keep pausing the various games, jump out, and look for the cheat manually each time. I'm also using a mini keyboard with no num pad that worked fine prior to my medical adventure, but again, that's a me issue.
Thanks for your honesty. You are probably right that the posts should be edited out instead of deleted and I think some mods do this already. But if I said just 2-3 posts up that all complaints without a savegame would be deleted on sight then I feel like it's fair. But maybe after it gets buried 10 pages deep then what you suggested should be done.
I can definetly see your point.
I guess part of it may be that whichever mod may be deleting them may have an extreme definition of a complete.
If I put something like "this trainer sucks and I cant get anything to work" I could understand it but I was very careful (Well as careful as my condition allows) to word it more like information gathering from other people first. There was a VERY good chance that I misunderstood something in using it. I'd rather not get you guys invloved in looking at something that is user error. You have enough on your plates without having to deal with my nonsense. If the post stayed up and I had other confirm the same issue, I would have then followed the proper procedure for reporting issues, including a save game.
If you'd rather that I just report every issue I have with a trainer even if it's user error, I can do that. I just don't want it to end up being that my future complaints just get dismissed out of hand because I submitted too many user error issues.
Let me know what you'd prefer going forward and I will try to remember to do that.
As an aside, it looks like other people did have the same issue and their posts were left up. I see at least one person also put up a save game. If you think its best for me to submit the issue as well, I can do that.
On two points. The first, please report any issues you have with the trainer, but either A) provide a savegame with steps or B) Provide steps to recreate, even from the very start of the game. Second point, please do submit your savegame with instructions. thx
Just an FYI. I DID post the steps on the board AND included a save game.
I also submitted it as a feature request/bug but that wouldn't let me add a save game.
My post was STILL deleted. My request was denied but I don't think they used my save game on the board.
I'm starting to think that whoever is deleting my posts just doesn't care if I'm polite, detailed, and include a save.
It looks like anytime anything is posted that could even 1% be seen as a "complaint" They delete it. Maybe even without reading it.
At this point, especially with my disability, I give up. Trying to help fix a possible bug or at least trying to determine what I may be doing wrong has become too frustrating and draining for me.
From now on if I encounter any issues I just won't use that particular cheat anymore and if I remember this I won't bother reporting it or posting it.

Well, I guess I give up too. I'm trying my best and apparently it means nothing. I have no idea who is deleting your post(s), especially if a savegame was attached. From now on you can just email me directly at [email protected] if you have an issue, complaint, problem or whatever and attach saves to the email.
EDIT: I asked all mods and none of them said they deleted any of your posts, so it had to be the trainer maker unless your post errored out. I have also now rescinded my order of deleting messages without a savegame. That's the best I can do.

punisher2005.
I did see you post and I replied that I tested it and saw what you meant. I passed a long a video showing what was explained by you.
I'm sorry your post got deleted, but at least I did get to read if before and check it out.
Can you still see my post and/or your reply?
I definitely didn't see your reply and can no longer see my post.

I REALLY don't mean to cause any trouble.
Part of my disability is having trouble explaining myself. The other part is memory loss.
It just gets frustrating when I'm positive I posted something and then it disappears.
I can almost never know if I imagined it or not. At least in this case, one person confirmed seeing my post so at least I know I'm not completely crazy.
I would have thought that as admin you'd have some background tools to see deleted posts and who deleted them.
If not, then there is nothing you can do unless the deleter comes forward.

No, sadly that is all gone.
I did however reply that I saw what you meant about the jetpack being a bit weird so I made a video of it on my end and passed along.
No promises that it can be solved. The trainer maker would have to say about that when he has had time to look at it.
