I started a request for Mortal Kombat 1.
Seeing as that will be part Single player, part Multiplayer, I am not sure if there will be a trainer for that.
But then again, MK 11 is the same and has a trainer, so, I am keeping my hopes up.
Does anyone know if there will be a trainer for MK1?

Obviously we cannot predict the future or know how MK1 will be programmed. If there is a distinct SINGLE PLAYER/OFFLINE mode then yes there will most likely be a trainer.

I am deciding between getting MK1 on PlayStation or PC.
On PC, if there is a trainer, I can get easy costumes and possibly mods in the future.
But if there is no trainer, I would get it on PS because then, I can play with some of my friends when they come over.
I don't want to have to buy it on both platforms.
Let me research if there is a distinct Single Player/OFFLIN mode.
What kind of information do you need me to find?
I am not tech savvy though. XD
Or should I just wait till the game comes out and forget about pre-order?

The developers have stated that no internet connection will be required though some modes will require an internet connection. The obvious requiring a connection of course is multiplayer but of course no trainer will be for that for obvious reasons.

Only single player mode I know that most likely will require an internet connection is the recently revealed "Invasion Mode". Supposedly the mode won't have micro-transactions though it'll be updated seasonally kinda like a live-service game but without really being live-service(at least that's how they're stating it).

Like PWizard said we don't know how the game will be programmed overall but hope this provides some insight and fingers crossed that a trainer is actually possible for single player.
