Hi guys. Is anyone still having game crashes after latest game update/hotfix when using Trainer? I noticed that Trainer update requests have been removed for BG3 Trainer. Thoughts and help appreciated 🙂
I was able to submit update request. Dunno what you're talking about.
Just finished testing the trainer after today's hotfix. Tested all trainer options and editor, including split item, and they are working as they should. No issues to report. 🙂
Thanks.. this is good news, since bit updates usually mean the trainer is down for hours and hours
Have been running current trainer for the last 50 hours of playtime with no crashes. Do not play with any trainer option on all the time. Turn options off until you need them. If you are in combat, turn on god mode only once the battle begins and try to turn it off before the last hit to end combat. I noticed if I left that option on all the time the game would not work properly and would crash from time to time. Leaving off all trainer options until needed resolved all issues. Hope this helps others. 🙂

Only other Trainer option I use is unlimited movement/attack, but I only used that one as needed. Thoughts appreciated 🙂
Running into an issue with the Steam version and Stat Editing. I followed the readme and made a save. Loaded the save and the fields in the editor are all odd. I can attach a picture if needed but the values are entered like this:

STR 0
DEX 65535
CON -252
INT -1
WIS -1
CHA 1460283232
Same with other party memebers. Not new to editing and I made sure to check A/V is off and nothing is running to interfer with the Trainer. Any ideas? Again I am following the readme to a T and have replicated it with 3 relaunches of the game. The save is untouched in any other manner and no toggles on.

With stat editing first save the game for the stats to appear. Then make the changes and resave before loading the game. If you load before making the changes it will mess up the stats. If you load without resave it will mess up the stats. Also note that the stats will not show the exact number that you have. For example if you have less than 10 of something the stat will show 0, add to the number the amount you want it raised to. If your stat is 8 and you want it at 20, put 12 in the box. If your stat is 8 and you want it 30, put 22 in the box. This also goes for the other stats that are above 10. If the box says 5 and your stat is 15, if you want it to 20 change the 5 to 10. If you want it to 30, change the 5 to 20. Remember, after making changes you must resave and then load that save for the numbers to stick. Hope this helps. 🙂

I have been playing with the current iteration of the trainer for about 20 hours now and haven't had a single crash. I did sometimes leave the god mode option on outside of combat to test, but I only turned it on when I needed it. For example, when I knew I was going to be going through traps or something similar. Remember this game is massive and all variables may not be accounted for. 🙂
