Can anyone get the Trait Point at Start to work? I've tried everything and I can't get it to work. using steam ver

If something isn't working after following the instructions, if any is available, then you would have to report it using the file update request.
As long as everybody just makes a forum post and the number of reports stay at 0, we presume the trainer works fine.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Trait Points at Start of Game How to.. 😋 (also quick directions are in the trainer NFO)
--> Start new game -> ex Federation Earth ->
-> recent trainer open and F1 activated for steam -> in CH Steam Trainer: select the editor tab. Trait Points field = ??. (no readable memory value)
-> alt tab back to the game: click on green cirlce to highlight one of the traits and turn on and then turn off. Traits points will go to -2 and back to zero.
-> alt tab back to in CH Steam Trainer. Should now show numerical value ex. 3 : change the Trait Points at Start of Game from a value of 3 to value of 40 (or 30) etc
-> in game select all your traits while it discounts points. hit next when done. fin.
Summary:
CH Trainer Activated and in Editor tab. In game: add and subtract trait points to get memory value - needs to see change. CH Trainer: edit value to what you want & go back to game to use new points.

There are console commands for the game. may add research points which allows tech to complete immediately and carry over to next tech etc (works well). Also unlock a specific tech from the tree ex. unlock MasterTech_SubspaceScanning . Good howto video link below.
