If I were to use points towards a 50$ Humble Bundle game, will that just give me a 50$ gift card to use on Humble bundle and then I could just pay the rest of the price for the game out of pocket? (Have never redeemed points before, so just curious how it works)

No, you typically choose a game @ $50 or less and then we purchase and gift it to you. You may also choose PayPal cash as an alternative.
